inexpensive but very complete kitSep 01, 2007
By ramseydad As a youth coach, I needed a first aid kit as described in the Rutgers SAFETY clinic coaches reference manual. This kit was the only one I could find under $100 that had just about everything recommended in the manual. I think it is more complete than the kits available from Red Cross. Tons of bandaids, plus gauze, tape, scissors, ointments, bug sting swabs, hydrogen peroxide spray, gloves, a hot/cold pack and instant cold pack, even some sunscreen packets, hand sanitizer packets, and saline solution. The only thing missing was a first aid manual. Note that this kit is big, 13.5" x 11.5" x 4", which is what I was looking for (had enough room to add a small flashlight, a small tube of petroleum jelly and some extra hand sanitizer), but if you are looking for a travel kit this may be too big.

a lot of mediocre stuffJul 25, 2009
By Kenneth C. Gross This is a medium to somewhat less than medium quality kit. There are a large number of items, but the quality of the case is poor, the quality of the instruments is mediocre, and overall I was not pleased when I received it. When I opened it up, much of the contents fell out. So, I glued the plastic insert in the case to hold it together. You must open it at a 45 degree angle to keep the contents inside. Bummer. The printing on the case is cheap, as is the case. It does not fit together well enough to keep water out. Spend more money and get something better, or the same amount and something smaller but better quality. Just my opinion.

Satisfied CustomerJan 09, 2008
By W. Crowder The kit contains everything you need, is well organized, and can be hung for easy and quick access for emergency situations. The supplier, Backyard Chef, went out of their way to replace the original kit which had arrived damaged. Would definitely purchase this kit again and deal with the same supplier.

Great value for the money...Mar 11, 2009
By Jeff Barnes ... so long as you don't buy it from Amazon. Sam's Club has it for around $20.
It's a basic first aid kit. Buy one for your house, one for your car. Supplement it with a few odds and ends (Celox, Waterjel, Diphenhydramine/Benadryl, StaphAseptic, etc.) to fill in the gaps and it's ready to go.

Seems completeMar 14, 2008
By A. Hanes This first aid kit has a lot of things in it. I wish that the product description on the page could have included all of the contents of the kit, but I'm also not willing to type it all out, so I understand their lack of enthusiam to do so. Only complaint is that it didn't have any triangular bandages.
