Don't Feed This to Your Dog!!!Jul 31, 2010 Costco sells these by the bag and our dog had one half of a treat today and suddenly became lifeless, throwing up and extremely thirsty. Then I read the FDA warning at [...]
I hope that she will recover OK. Please don't put your dog at risk with this POISON from China.

Toxic Treat for your FurbabyJun 18, 2010 My mom bought these treats for my yorkie as a treat for him when he visits her. It looked like a shady treat to me when she gave it to him and by that night he began throwing up and had diarrhea all night. I immediately took him to the vet and he had to be put on IVs. He has no kidney damage but his illness was caused from this treat. Nothing had changed from my baby's diet except for the introduction to this treat. My mom had also given a piece to our other dog and he became ill but not as bad as mine. I think it definitely affects smaller breeds versus larger ones. I have to take my furbaby back to the vet tomorrow for more IV fluids and make sure he doesn't throw up. I will be writing to Waggin Trains.
If you love your pets, do research and DO NOT give them anything that comes from China. I am devastated they still sell these treats. I just hope my lil one recovers.

Waggin Train Chicken jerky tendersJun 05, 2010 My dog loves this treat, and the service was great and fast! Will reorder again.
Waggin' Train Wholesome Chicken Jerky TendersJun 04, 2010 A friend purchased these for my mini dachshund and she absolutely LOVED them. Generally, she wants to play beggar when I am eating supper but when given this treat she gets in her bed and munches until it's gone. I originally got on Amazon to buy MORE of these treats and was so pleased to see that they had a "bulk" option since the 3.5oz only has about 5-6 slices of tenders (which lasted about a week and a half)...then I started reading past reviews and grew very concerned although the majority were from 2007, or perhaps a bad batch as another person suggested. I had read on the bag previously and thought it sounded like a heck of a good treat (obviously without paying much attention to what was typed under the barcode).
I had kept the bag so I would remember the brand/kind of treat as to buy some more later and noticed it said "Waggin' Train is an American owned company and operates US-managed facilities" so I thought "they must have quit importing them from China since that's apparently where they were coming from before" but to the left is "Treats for Dogs *barcode* Made in China"

I am confused as to whether the company is trying to play it off as they are in the United States producing this chicken and it is still being imported from China OR simply the bag is made in China and the rest of production/packaging takes place here. Maybe everything takes place in China but their headquarters is here. I just don't know.
I would rate this product five stars since my dog absolutely loved it, but I'm sure you can understand why I am giving it three.
